The Prince Wine Store offers a range of courses suitable for both consumer and industry professional. These courses follow two 'streams' outlined below.
Wine & Spirit Education Trust of the UK (WSET)
The Wine and Spirit Education Trust was established almost forty years ago with the motto Gustibus mens dat incredmentum (knowledge enhances sensory perception) and during this time it has been the main source of education and training for the UK which is widely considered the most mature and informed wine market in the world.
The WSET courses are now offered and recognised all over the world. They offer students a structured wine education system that is internationally recognised.
Prince Wine Store 'In-House' Courses
If the formal structure of the WSET courses are not for you but you wish to learn about wine to become a more informed consumer then our internally produced wine courses are a perfect place to start. We offer Basic Introductory, French and Italian wine courses, taught by our own resident experts.

| This qualification is intended as vocational training in product knowledge for those employed in the drinks industry who have little previous knowledge of the broad range of alcoholic beverages available in Australia. The qualification is suitable wherever a basic level of product knowledge is required to underpin job skills and competencies, for example, in the customer service and sales functions of the hospitality, retail and wholesale industries.
The course may also be suitable for people who are not employed within the drinks industry but wish to learn more about the subject. It is important that potential students appreciate that this is primarily a professional development course for the drinks industry and is approached in that way by our tutors.
