Come and join Phillip from Palais Imports, Australia’s agent for some of the most wonderful beers in existence. He will be pouring through a range of beers from North Coast Brewery including: Red Seal American Amber Ale, Old Rasputin Imperial Stout, Brother Thelonius Belgian Strong ale and Le Merle saison.

A pioneer in the craft beer movement, North Coast Brewing Company opened in 1988 as a local brewpub in the historic town of Fort Bragg, located on California’s Mendocino Coast.  Under the leadership of Brewmaster Mark Ruedrich, the brewery has developed a strong reputation for quality having won more than 70 awards in national and international competitions.

Red Seal Ale

Tasting Notes: Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal is generously hopped for a long, spicy finish. An excellent accompaniment to grilled meats and rich sauces.

Old Rasputin Imperial Stout

Style: Russian Imperial Stout
Colour: Black

Alcohol by Volume: 9 percent

Tasting Notes: Choice American barley and wheat malts are combined with a blend of noble hops to create this light, fruity, refreshing beer. Brewed in the style of the American beer renaissance, Blue Star is unfiltered, the yeast adding a complex note to the flavor profile.

Brother Thelonius

Style: Belgian Style Strong Dark
Colour: Dark Mahogany

Tasting Notes:Like a Belgian “Dark Strong Ale”, the beer is rich and robust with an ABV of 9.3%. The package features a label picturing the jazz master himself.
Comments: When you buy Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale you also help to support the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz whose mission is to offer the world's most promising young musicians college level training by America's jazz masters and to present public school-based jazz education programs for young people around the world.  All of these programs are offered free of charge to the students and schools.

Le Merle

Colour: Straw

Tasting Notes:Le Merle is a rustic ale, pale in color, inspired by the rich brewing traditions of the Flanders region. Abundant hops and a Belgian yeast strain contribute exotic aromas of tropical fruit.
