One of the finest young producers in the Northern Rhone is Jerome
Coursodon. His 2008s are competent efforts, but his 2009s are among the most
prodigious St.-Josephs of the vintage.

medium to full-bodied, elegant 2009 St.-Joseph Silice offers up notes of
raspberries, black currants, crushed rocks, spring flowers and forest floor. It
has an underlying minerality, but the supple tannins, rich, expansive, savory
mouthfeel and plush finish result in a stunningly satisfying St.-Joseph to enjoy
over the next 7-8 years.
