affection for nebbiolo, and Pannell, who has dedicated much time to
understanding its intricate and complex ways, has found constant rhythm here.
This is a fragrant and pretty red that has plenty of purple-cherry fruit
aromas, sweet oak spice threaded through, anise and cassia bark, and really
terrific perfumed lift. The palate boasts handy concentration and delivers
immediately fleshy impact before sucking dry and fine, with gently driving
tannins, raspberry fruit flavours and crunchy acid working in the background.
