Richard McIntyre has taken Moorooduc Estate to new heights, having completely mastered the difficult art of gaining maximum results from wild yeast fermentations. While the Chardonnays remain the jewels in the crown, the Pinot Noirs are also very impressive. Viticulturist Hugh Robinson tends the vines with the same attention to detail he bestows on his own vineyard. Jill's Restaurant and accommodation has been closed, but food and coffee are available at the newly renovated and much-improved cellar door, including sour dough wood-fired pizza on weekends.
