In the 20 years since Chiara Boschis took over the E. Pira estate she has renovated everything from the vineyards to the wine style, creating a brilliant reputation for the now modern styled Barolo’s. She has done this through a blend of passion, hard work (she works solo in her cellars preferring to keep an eye on every element of the process) and undeniable clarity of vision for what she wants from her wines. On top of all this she is a charming person and we are delighted to be able to co-host this small dinner showcasing a cross-section of her range including a sneak peak at the 2006 Barolo’s.
The wines will be accompanied by a special six course menu created by Guy Grossi and featuring the Chianina beef of Daniela Mollica and Sam Walker from their Gippsland property; some of the only 100% Chianina being farmed in Australia.
This dinner will book extremely quickly -some places have already pre-sold on word of mouth - so please be quick to reserve your place at what should be a brilliant evening.
