The fact is there are 600-odd varieties and where it’s grown has a decided effect on the aromatic and flavour profiles in the same way grapes pick up certain characteristics from their site. Moreover what difference does production method have on the final product and what oil goes with what food? Clearly John Laws was right when he uttered those immortal words: Oils Aint Oils!
We are delighted to welcome Michael Trembath to PWS to host a special Olive Oil Masterclass. Michael is a well-known Italian wine importer but one of his passions in life is olive oil and what he doesn’t know about Italian Olive Oil in partiuclar isn’t worth knowing.
