This course takes place at Moorooduc Estate – 501 Derril Road, Moorooduc.
COURSE DATES (Tuesday evenings between 6 – 8 pm): Tuesday APRIL 18- JUNE 13, 2017
EXAM (1 hour multiple-choice) is on JUNE 13 at 6 pm.
Intermediate program is intended for those with little previous experience in the field of wine and spirits. Students will also be introduced to the main styles of wines produced by key grape varieties and a specific number of regions. By the end of the course a student will know, simply by reading a wine or spirit label what most wine and spirits taste like.
The course is very suitable for people who are not employed in the drinks industry but wish to learn more about the subject. However, it is important that potential students appreciate that this is primarily a professional development course for the hospitality industry and is approached in that way by our tutors.
The course will be run on Tuesday evenings at the Prince Wine Store, between 6 pm – 8 pm. In the last week there will be a one hour multiple choice exam and you will have one hour to complete this. You will receive your results and a certificate within 2 – 4 weeks of completing the course.
There is a $50 fee if you do not attend your exam and a $100 fee should you need to re-sit the exam.
