Including wines from Craiglee, Clonakilla, Jamsheed, Turkey Flat & more.
Shiraz, as Aussie as vegemite, it’s our national variety and we all love a big glass of an old favourite on a special occasion or with a good meal. But what about all the new labels, new producers and talk about Syrah!?
At Prince Wine Store we see a lot of Shiraz come through the door wearing a lot of different guises and we know that this grape can do great things and that it lends itself to many styles. So we thought we should show a few of the wines that we have been enjoying for years and a few that have snuck in to our drinking schedule in more recent times.
Cool climate wines from the Yarra Valley, Great Western, Bendigo, Sunbury and the Hilltops region of NSW rub shoulders with ‘warmer’ wines from the Barossa and there is even one Shiraz Savignin blend! What these wines have in common, though, is they are all outstanding ambassadors for their variety and regions.
Cheers
