The small cellar run by the young Davy Dosnon and Simon-Charles Lepage in Avirey-Lingey in the south-west reaches of the Cote des bar is on the rise. A small annual production of just 50.000 bottles reflects an every-more comfortable disposition of integration of low dosage and old oak. There is refinement, skill and craftsmanship on display in every cuvee, and the best represent great value for money. TYSON STELZER
