OK, OK, we know, we know. We have already done a Pinot Noir & Chardonnay mixed dozen but we just couldn't help ourselves. There has been so much good Pinot come across our desk that we wanted to get everyone on the Pinot train for a Pinot Party. The Australian wine scene is pretty exciting at the moment and there is a ton of great Pinot being made locally and coming into the country from abroad. This is a celebration of all that goodness and the diversity of styles we are so lucky to see here. Of course, we are only scratching the surface, but I think you couldn't be happier with such a diverse range of Pinot from so many far-flung places and so many Aussie favourite Pinot hot-spots.
Some of latest releases and new vintages featuring this month is the Moorooduc Estate Devil Bend Creek Pinot Noir 2018 and again holds the mantle for best value Pinot and is an absolutely slurpable drop. Oakridge Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2018 is a new range featuring a blend of Oakridges single vineyard holdings and epitomises the class that Oakridge is known for. De Bortoli Villages Pinot Noir 2018 follows a similar philosophy showcasing the best vineyards and primest single sites in the Yarra and would give the Devil Bend Creek a run for the money.
From overseas we have a couple of absolute crackers. The latest vintage of the Domaine de Bellene Bourgogne Rouge Maison Dieu 2017 Vieilles Vignes has just landed and it is tres chic as always and one of the best value Burgundy on the market. For something a little different Les Peyrautins Pinot Noir 2017 is a surprise package from, hold your breath, Minervois! Trust us we were surprised as you were. And from our brothers over the water comes the Underwood Oregon Pinot Noir 2016 highlighting the best of Oregons AVA's in a forward and utterly delicious expression of American fruit.
A little closer to home and we have a power pack of great Pinot from all over with the likes of Garagiste Le Stagiaire Pinot Noir 2017 in Mornington, Silent Way Pinot Noir 2017 from the Macedon Renages, The Isle Tamar Valley Pinot Noir 2016 in Tassie, Lino Ramble Vinyl Pinot Noir 2018 from the Adelaide Hills, Unico Zelo Harvest Pinot Noir 2018 from Riverland and Luna Martinborough Pinot Noir 2016 from New Zealand.
I think you couldn't be happier with such a diverse range of Pinot from so many far-flung places and so many Aussie favourite Pinot Hot Spots. In addition to this months Pinots we will also be offering 15% off any straight dozen buys from any of the wines featured in this months dozen.
