Anke says: With an ever-so-slight pale, rose-gold colour, the wine excites from first sight.  The nose is full of green apple, spiced apple cake, a touch of grapefruit pith and a hint of leesey character.  After all the nose has to offer, a beautifully-textured palate is what really does it for me.  All green apple and crunchy acidity but with a mealy texture on the finish.  So enjoyable and surely to give a few Vouvrays are run for their money.

Roscoe says: It's Chenin, there is no escaping that and why would you want to. Theres a pale blush to the wine from a very short period of skin contact but the nose is bright, super fresh, full of pomme fruits and apple blossom. The palate has an almost citric like zip to the acidity, there is a little texture too but mostly it is about the lovely fruit presence, an almost bruised pear character (a good thing here) and that super fresh acidity that makes this so good to drink.
