One of two releases from Christophe Ferrandis this time around, the A Mandria Blanc is perhaps the most surprising wine of the whole set. I can't believe how a wine can be this chiselled and mineral whilst carrying around meaningful palate weight and phenolics, but this does so effortlessly. One of those wines that takes more than one glass to get to know, but seems to be all the more rewarding for it
100% Vermentinu from Patrimonio, limestone, clay and shale, 50-70m ASL, indigenous ferment in stainless steel, then 12 months ageing in stainless (3 months on lees), 3 months in bottle before release, unfined with very light filtration, very low sulfur, natural cork. CLOS SIGNADORE
