Wow, what a drink! We tried this with the team the other day and ordered it straight off the bat. This is for those who love their bitter digestives. The base of Barolo fruit from Serralunga is used to soak aromatics, most notably quinine, and 20 or so others. The result is the usual heady perfume of Nebbiolo and a sweeping array of spicy, lifted and heady aromas. The first sip will decide if this is for you or not, the bitterness is really evident and all the spice carries across as well making for a serious palate staining after dinner digestive.
