Winter has seemed to hit early and hard. But that is OK because now that we are stuck at home in the cold it just gives us more opportunity to explore the wonderful world of wine. So that is what we have put together here for you - a great selection of winter, warming reds from around the world to sooth the soul and take your mind off the daily grind.
There is a little something here for all you red wine lovers with a focus on some great new producers and wines you may have not seen from us. While locked down we have kept busy finding all the great little gems and have rammed them into this terrific value dozen.
This month includes wine from Spain, Argentina, France, Italy and of course Australia. Look out for the great new project from Dune Wines in McLaren Vale we think are just awesome as well as Izway from the Barossa who we have been big fans of for some time.
The wines of Bodegas Valderiz in Spain are great examples of classic, rich and textured Ribera Del Duero while the Vino de Montana and Campo Flores blends offer incredible drinking and interest to boot!
There is Bordeaux from Clarence Dillon, cracking Cotes du Rhone from the latest vintage Rive Droite Rive Gauche as well as killer Barossa Shiraz from Sons of Eden and spicy juicy Grenache from Thistledown and more.
Enjoy! Myles and the PWS Team
