Blond, robust, smooth, and fruity three grain top fermented beer, refermented in the bottle. Brewed with pride and patience after Karmeliet tradition with wheat, oat and barley. 100% natural. Brouwerij Bosteels

Tripel Karmeliet pours out of the bottle a hazy golden color with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly (That may have something to do with my glassware, though. I have been having trouble with head retention recently). The aroma is rich and complex. You get notes of grape, berry, pepper, oak, coriander, yeast, orange, kumquat and pineapple. This is a medium bodied ale with a very fizzy mouthfeel. The flavor starts out with some bread, oat, lemon, oak and orange. The finish is dry, crisp and subtly bitter with traces of pepper, yeast, grape, berry, pineapple, coriander and pine. The aftertaste lingers wonderfully with hints of oak, grape, spice and roasted barley.
This is a really complex ale with amazing flavor. This is probably the best tripel I have ever had. I can’t imagine anyone with half a palate not liking this beer, even if they are not a regular beer drinker. You could pair this with seafood, pork or a fresh vegetable pasta dish (particularly something with peas), but I would recommend you just drink Tripel Karmeliet on its own to truly appreciate the charms it possesses. .THERULINGGLASS.BLOGSPOT.COM.AU
