Ratcheting up the intensity, complexity and length, this top tiered Chardonnay was fermented wild across an arsenal of new and used oak, presumably a greater percentage new than that used for the 'Southside' cuvee. The fruit was sourced from the prized turf of Wilyabrup across three clones: Gin Gin, 95 and P58. This is a compelling chardonnay with the region's signature 'peaches and cream' aroma, offset by a mid-palate core of oatmeal, nougatine, truffle and curd that massages the high beam of maritime acidity to the point where it is almost imperceivable, such is the wine's poise, luminous flavours and length.
