This historic Loire Valley Domaine, for over one hundred years, has been producing outstanding expressions of Chenin Blanc from their mainly chalk clay vineyard sites in Vouvray. Marc Bredif is well known in Australia as a result of Len Evans having imported a huge range of back vintages in the late 1970’s. Along with a bunch of his wine buddies they were able to buy an amazing collection of wines when the new owners were clearing the Cellar! If you have been lucky enough to try some of those old vintages going back to the early 1920’s, including one of the greatest sweet wines you are ever likely to try, the immortal 1921, you will appreciate the outstanding quality of this Domaine.

Now owned and operated by the Baron de Ladoucette of Pouilly Fume fame, there is a clear commitment to have the highest possible standards and produce the wines that this Domaine was justifiably famous for. As always these wines are transformed with bottle age.
