Best Museum Wine – Classes 12 & 13 Prince Wine Store Trophy
Pale straw-green; an ultimate exercise in finesse and delicacy; everything is in balance, and the future of the wine is assured; the only question is whether there is enough substance to the fruit to take it to the highest level. JAMES HALLIDAY

This is a tight, reserved chardonnay but given time to stretch its legs it really impresses. It tastes of fennel, sweet oak, spice and a combination of ripe, fleshy peach and grapefruit. It’s not rich or exaggerated but it is glycerol and lengthy. It had me at hello, I have to say, though its best is ahead of it. CAMPBELL MATTINSON, The Winefront
