From Burgundy we have one of the great bargains of the Cote d'Or: Faiveley Mercurey Clos du Roy 2015 - a brilliant premier cru wine from a legendary vintage! In Germany, not too far as the crow flies from Burgundy, Bernhard Huber is a wizard of Spatburgunder, with a huge range of cuvees produced. These are very accomplished wines, complex wines and the Malterdinger shows beautiful dark cherry, earthy and Mocha notes and a very elegant, aromatic and silky textured finish.

Australian is represented by the Ten Minutes by tractor Wallis vineyard Pinot noir 2016 and the Bindi Dixon Pinot Noir 2017, both cracking wines at opposite ends of the spectrum. From New Zealand we have the Domaine Thomson a finessed example of Central Otago without compromising the style. The new world wines are rounded out by Haden Fig Willamette Pinot Noir 2014 from Oregon!
