The 2017 Saint-Bris Moury was fortunately spared by the frost, although it was still cropped at just 16hl/ha. It has a very well defined, pungent bouquet of gooseberry, nettle soup, dandelion and peat-like aromas that burst from the glass. The palate is crisp and taut, presenting a dash of lemon peel and orange peel on the entry. This feels well balanced and quite linear in style, and the peppery but strict finish lingers in the mouth.
