Cellar Release of Curly Flat

Producer of some of the finest Australian Pinot Noir I have encountered. JANCIS ROBINSON MW

It isn’t unusual for people to enter the wine world with sky high hopes, but it is unusual to have them realized so unambiguously. JOHN ATKINSON MW

The chardonnay and pinot noir superstar of Victoria’s Macedon Ranges. JAMES HALLIDAY

The wines of Macedon Ranges super star Curly Flat need little introduction to the savvy Australian buyers out there. The wines have a fanatical following and have had for years, so much so we find it hard to keep enough stock on the shelves at times. So when we were offered a parcel of three back vintages of both his reference point Pinot and iconic Chardonnay we eagerly agreed to take it.

These wines have all been stored at the wineries cellars and will be shipped to us soon. We anticipate a bit of a feeding frenzy here as it is widely held that the triple threat of 2012, 2013 and 2014 vintages were all espically good chez Curly Flat and while some people may have purchased them on release there isn’t likely much remaining out there un-drunk. This is a very rare opportunity to purchase some great back vintage stock from one of this country’s most lauded cool climate wine producers.
