Clare Valley Mini Expo SYDNEY

Clare Valley, a few hours north of Adelaide, is one of Australia’s most picturesque wine regions. First planted in the 1840’s, the Clare has forged a reputation of making some of the word’s best Riesling but also some very good Cabernet and Shiraz. Although traditional, Clare has not been immune to the fresh ideas and experimentation currently sweeping through the wine industry. It’s very exciting times and we have compiled some classic Rieslings and Shiraz from producers like major trophy winning John Hughes from Rieslingfreak and Neil Pike’s and Grant Arnold’s project, Gaelic Cemetery. The Koerner brothers have created quite a stir over the last few years with their stylish wines made from alternative varieties such as Sciaccarello and skin contact Vermentino and we will be pouring these alongside some very good Grenache and Mataro from Tonic Wines.
