Dirty Three & By Farr Tasting Sydney

We will be showcasing an epic East vs West Pinot Noir show down. Well, not really, in our eyes both wineries represent the dynamic nature of the Australian wine industry and why Pinot Noir is such a nerdy and delicious grape variety.

By Farr needs little introduction and represents the best of the Australian wine industry. It is located just over an hour South West of Melbourne on a patch of land the Farr family have worked for decades.  Present day Nick Farr knows his metier and land as best as anyone can.  Growing up on the estate and working countless vintages before taking the helm from his trail blazing father, crafting intense and deeply personal wines.   The current four new releases will be on taste: 2018 Viognier, 2018 Chardonnay, 2017 Farrside Pinot Noir, 2017 Sangreal. 

Dirty Three ply their craft on the otherside of the Port Phillip Bay, 2 hours South East of Melbourne.  Winemaker Marcus Satchwell grew up in Gippsland.  Amassing an enviable amount of experience and strong relationships with local growers.  Each of his wines are an expression of the Gippsland wine region, from All the Dirts regional blend through to his Dirt 1, Dirt 2 & Dirt 3 wines.  Which are single site wines expressed through the lense of Marcus' winemaking.
