Ogier Cote Rotie 2015 Arrival Offer
“Richer than 2010 and fresher than 2009” is the way Stéphane Ogier summed up the 2015 vintage. JOSH RAYNOLDS, Vinous
A visit to the cellars of Stephane Ogier is all it takes to convince you, if you are not already converted, that this is indeed one of the top small handful of estates in the Northern Rhone. Nothing here is out of place, everything is kept immaculately pristine both in the winery and the vineyards (where Stephane is adamant he does the majority of his work). For those of you who have not tried the wines from this modern era cult producer 2015 is the time to get on board. All three of the wines on offer are nothing short of spectacular for their respective position in his hierarchy.
La Rosine is made from 100% Syrah and sourced from vineyards located between Cote Rotie and Condrieu, it drinks like a baby Cote Rotie and is stupendous value. The Cotes du Rhone is the one wine he makes from vineyards purchased in the South and demonstrates the deft hand of a master of his craft from a top vintage but doesn’t attract the price tag. His Cote Rotie Village is super! Stephane commented that 15s where as good as any vintage he has seen while here on a visit earlier this year. We agree wholeheartedly.
We are offering the Cote Rotie to VIP Rhone buyers only because of the tiny volumes and I strongly suggest that if you are tempted you should follow that urge as that wine will put a smile on many faces. The Reserve is due to arrive late this year in even smaller quantities. We are offering the three wines at a very sharp price and they have just landed in Oz.
As always please feel free to contact me personally if you want to chat about the wines or place an order. You can reach me at the store on 03 9686 3033 or simply respond to this email. Alternatively you can always orders online by following the link below.
Cheers and enjoy these special wines when the time and the mood comes for drinking amazing Rhone wines strikes you.
