Ravensworth Wines + Rhone New Releases

This weekend’s tasting we’re privileged to have Bryan Martin join us to present his outstanding wines.  Bryan’s wines are remarkable in many, many ways.  They are modern, delicious, well packaged and exciting in all of the right ways. His time as a food & cook book writer informs his taste which often crosses over deftly to the esoteric. His time at the iconic Clonakilla adds much gravitas to his resume too.  And even with all of this, his wines remain bargains. Which we’re quite sure that hasn’t escaped his attention.

In addition to this we will be taking a short tour of France’s Rhone valley with new releases from three great Domaines. From North to South: Cote Rotie based Stephane Ogier, Coursodon St Jospeh wines and finally the lovely ethereal reds from Chateauneuf du Pape producer Font du Courtedune.

A talented food writer, cook and forager, Bryan Martin thinks deeply about textures and flavours. This combined with over a decade’s experience at Clonakilla, has resulted in a suite of distinctive Ravensworth wines. HUON HOOKE
