Riesling for Breakfast Tasting 2018

Riesling for Breakfast, could there be anything better?! Throw in five of the world’s greatest producers and a selection of 30 wines from Australia and Germany and it becomes even more compelling.

This special tasting is part of the bi-annual Riesling Downunder Celebration which sees some of the greatest producers grace our shores: Frankland Estate (Hunter Smith), Ansgar Clüsserath (poured by Eva’s husband Philipp Wittmann), Georg Breuer (Theresa Breuer), Gunderloch (Johannes Hasselbach), Bründlmayer (Vincent Bründlmayer).

There is a lot to love about Riesling: it’s one of the most diverse grapes producing powerful dry wines, light aromatic wines and lusciously sweet expressions. This group of producers brings together a selection of wines ranging across all styles, powerful, dry styles right through to the sweet expressions from the Mosel.
