The Return of Pooley Pinot Noir 2018
Pooley is of course one of the gems of Tasmanian wine.
CAMPBELL MATTINSON, The Wine Front
Things are looking up when news like this circulates. As you may already be aware that recent vintages have seen the Pooley Estate Pinot Noir sell out in a matter of hours. This was certainly the case for the 2018 release, but with our worlds being altered and the mass closing of restaurants and bars Australia-wide, what would have been allocated stock is now yours. If you missed out on the previous 2018 release or have drank your supply now is your chance to stock up.
Pooley Wines is a third generation family-run winery with vineyards on separate ends of the Coal River Valley in Tasmania. With 3rd generations: Anna and Matt leading the team in both the vineyards and winery the focus, in recent years, has been on prestigious quality and the dedication to this really shows.
I have honoured the same pricing that was offered upon the original release: a sharp 20% savings in a straight dozen or 15% savings for a single bottle and half-dozen. Normally retailing for $47 this is brilliant news and in perfect time for those chilly evenings.
I would advise ordering early to avoid disappointment.
