The Dal Zotto family has decided to make this wine one of their mainstays, and they’ve delivered an impressive, zesty style that has plenty of appeal as an aperitif or partly filler. There’s plenty of fresh cut pear and apple fruit here – really pure and even. The palates smooth and finely stated, with delicious, gently creamy texture.

Dal Zotto make two proseccos – the other is a vintage release that’s bottle-fermented and twice the price. This one uses the Charmat method and is made for everyday drinking. Alluring aromas of pear, apple blossom and red berries have a yeasty complexity to them, while the wine tastes of sweet stonefruit, spice and zesty lemon. It’s more gentle on the fizz than some and in turn has a creamy mousse along with a light grip and a refreshing finish of pithy citrus and apple.
