Farina of Veneto was founded in the early 1900s with a passion and desire for producing the highest quality wines possible from the Veneto region. Cousins Claudio and Elena Farina; now 3 generations are responsible for continuity of the Farina tradition and focus on quality production.
Farina is located in San Pietro in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica; the historical and original Valpolicella. Claudio and Elena own 10 hectares of their own vineyards and source fruit from long standing grower partnerships which encompass a further 70 hectares under vine.

This opens with a nice little lift of ripe peach, apple, floral notes and a hint of flinty stone shimmering around the edges. The palate has some nice plump fruit with a streak of minerally freshness that runs through the middle. Its on the heavier side of light and the fact that it comes off a combination of volcanic, alluvial and calcareous soils lends it a lot of complexity especially for a wine at this level. 100% steel tank means it remains beautifully vibrant. Lots of appeal here and very versatile.
