After spending 13 years as a wine buyer at City Wine Shop and The European Group, Gabrielle Poy has joined the PWS team. She brings knowledge, warmth and a sharp palate.
Gabrielle spent several years abroad, furthering her knowledge by completing vintages in Italy, Spain and New Zealand. In 2010 she was a Len Evans Scholar and 2011 a finalist in The Frankland Estate Riesling Scholarship. In 2015 she completed her WSET Diploma and teaches both Level 2 and 3 Awards.
More recently, she has become involved in wine show judging at both National and Regional shows, chairing both The Riverina and Heathcote Wine Shows.
While Gabrielle is partial to a drop, her loyalties lie with Australia and New Zealand, Champagne, Burgundy, The Loire, Rhône Valley, Italy (from top to toe) and whisky.
