  1. Weihenstephaner Kristal 500ml
    Weihenstephaner Kristal 500ml
In our golden-yellow crystal-clear wheat beer the fresh citrus flavour harmonises very well with spicy banana notes. The fine sparkling gives it a tangy and animated appearance. Throughout summer and winter, it’s a prickling experience. It goes well with fish, seafood, white meat or it can be enjoyed as an aperitif. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

  3. Dupont Saison 330mL
    Dupont Saison 330mL
A big, fluffy, long-lasting head introduces this dry, fruity, complex beer. The nose is lightly estery and full of peppery, spicy phenolic notes. It’s calm and restrained, but the palate is bursting with dry, spicy flavors, complex yeast character, and rich hop bitterness. The finish is dry, perhaps a touch astringent, but the overall effect here is beguiling and fresh, and flavors shift and dance around with each sip. WWW.FEARLESSCRITIC.COM

  4. Chimay Rouge Dubbel 330ml
    Chimay Rouge Dubbel 330ml
Ingredients: Pilsner malt (French barley from Champagne); wheat starch or flour (10% - 15%); dextrose (5%); malt extract (0.1%); hop extract from German Hallertaur (aroma) & American Galena (bittering) hops. Yeast & liquid invert sugar added to the bottled beer.
Chimay Red is noted for its coppery colour which makes it particularly attractive. Topped with a creamy head, it gives off a light, fruity apricot aroma produced by the fermentation. The taste perceived in the mouth is a balance confirming the fruity nuances noticed in the fragrance. Its taste, which imparts a silky sensation to the tongue, is made refreshing by a light touch of bitterness. To the palate, the taster perceives a pleasant astringency which complements the flavour qualities of this beer very harmoniously. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurised.

  5. Chimay Bleue Ale 330ml
    Chimay Bleue Ale 330ml

Chimay Blue is principally distinguished by its character of a strong beer. This is a beer whose fragrance of fresh yeast with a light, flowery rosy touch is especially pleasant. Its flavour, noticed when tasting it, only accentuates the pleasant sensations perceived in the aroma , while revealing a light but pleasant touch of roasted malt. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurised.

The nose is restrained and mild, carrying dark sugars, alcohol, and raisins, but the palate really blossoms, with deliciously rich flavors brought out by lively carbonation, with mild esters and low bitterness. There’s a spicy hint of alcohol in the finish. WWW.FEARLESSCRITIC.COM

  6. Orval 330ml
    Orval 330ml
Orval pours out of the bottle a hazy tawny with a big, fluffy creamy colored head. The aroma is Brett-y (tart and acidic) with notes of cherry, oak, white grape, nectarine, peasant bread, yeast, cedar and hints of citrus and gala apple. This is a medium-light bodied ale with a crisp and carbonated mouthfeel. The flavors starts with some tart and acidic fruit notes. I detect peach, nectarine and cherry, specifically. There is also a bit of oak. The finish is dry and a bit more tart with a juicy, maybe slightly sour green apple flavor. The aftertaste is more tart/acidic Brett-iness with notes of apricot, minerals, wood, herbs, white grape and cherry. As you drink, a sour cherry flavor becomes more and more dominant in a wonderful way, as it is really one of the freshest cherry flavors you can get without the actual use of cherries in the beer. 7. Rochefort 10 330ml
    Rochefort 10 330ml

The heaviest of the Rochefort beers, the 10 is a quadrupel style beer and can be recognized by its blue label.

Dominant impressions of latte coffee with powerful chocolate aromas in the nose. The alcohol esters are enveloped with hints of autumn wood, citrus zest (orange, lemon) and freshly baked biscuits. The initial taste is sweetly sinful. Beer and chocolate trapped into one single glass, a liquid milky draught with a backbone of bitter malt. The alcohol warms the throat and, in the finish, you will pick up traces of cloves, citrus, orange and mocha.

  8. Dupont Saison 750ml
    Dupont Saison 750ml
Brewed in the Saison style from Pilsner malt and Kent Goldings and Styrian Goldings hops. Originally titled "Saison Vielle Provision", the beer was also dry-hopped until the brewery stopped this practice in favor of a larger late hop addition in the boil. Unfiltered and bottle-conditioned, Saison Dupont is packaged in both green and brown glass bottles of a thickness appropriate to withstand the substantial carbonation. Some bottles are finished with a champagne-style cork and wire cage. PWS

  9. Gunderloch Fritz Riesling 2020
    Gunderloch Fritz Riesling 2020

How do they do it? This has been a PWS favourite for some time now and it never fails to deliver. Made by Rheinhessen legends Gunderloch with vineyards  close to the Rhines south-east steep slopes. The combination of the red slate soil, the proximity to the river, the exposure to the sun and the steepness of the vineyards - are perfect for producing wonderful ripeness. If you are a German riesling fan it would be hard to beat this for the sheer quality and insane value it represents.

The wine shows lovely stone fruit, peach and pithy characters as it opens in the glass. There is a salty mineral hit to that is really lovely. The fresh natural acidity zip through the ripe and spice flecked palate while a little aromatic lift gives this some real interest. Dry, fresh and full of character. PWS
