  1. Applewood Gin (500ml)
    Applewood Gin (500ml)

When we first imported our still in 2012 - the intent was always to play around with Gin and Whisky - and after 3 years of trial-after-trial, we're astoundingly happy with the result - a citrus-driven and floral Gin that has an interplay of fragrance, depth and vibrancy - inspired by Spring-time in the Adelaide Hills, distilled from grape-based spirit and composed of the following botanicals: Juniper Berries, Coriander Seed, Angelica Root, Ginger Root, Lemon Myrtle, Earl Grey Tea, Lavender, Vanilla, Cardamom, Macadamia, Lemon and Orange Peel. 2. Melbourne Gin Company Single Shot Gin (700ml)
Melbourne Gin Company Single Shot Gin (700ml)

We wanted to taste the Juniper. We wanted it to taste different to our Melbourne Dry Gin. We wanted it to taste amazing.

The Single Shot is a gin made in a single distillation, unlike the MGC’s original Melbourne Dry Gin, in which botanicals are individually distilled then blended together. The result is a full flavoured gin, so much so it may louche (form a fine glazy mist) in a G&T or Martini, which MGC celebrates as a mark of distinction.

Even before its release, Melbourne Gin Company has received major international accolades for Single Shot becoming the most awarded gin that no one has yet tasted.

    Double Gold at the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Awards;
Gin Master at the 2018 Gin Masters Awards London,
Gold Medal at the 2018 World Gin Masters – Asia (Hong Kong)
Since 2013 when MGC launched their first pioneering product, Melbourne Dry Gin, their fascination with the alchemy of gin has kept them busy conducting trials, perfecting their techniques and playing with different botanicals to create Single Shot.

  3. Four Pillars Spiced Negroni Gin (700ml)
Four Pillars Spiced Negroni Gin (700ml)

This gin was originally the result of a conversation between Cameron (our distiller) and Jason (then Group Bars Manager at Keystone, and one of the World’s Top Ten Bartenders) back in 2014 - they wanted to create a gin specifically for the Negroni. Something to cut through the Campari and vermouth. And as the Negroni has always been a favourite at Four Pillars, Cameron jumped at the chance to make the first collaboration in our Bartender Series a tribute to the very definition of a perfectly balanced cocktail.

Four Pillars Spiced Negroni Gin is a highly aromatic, rich and (yes) spicy gin with great power and intensity. First, we took our base botanicals and upped the amount of Tasmanian pepperberry leaf and cinnamon. Then we added an exotic West African spice called Grains of Paradise. This is one of the most unusual spices in the world, with clove and sichuan characters.  But although very powerful, the spice tends to glow rather than become hot.

We also decided to use beautiful organic blood oranges in the botanical basket, as well as some ginger.  These wonderfully fragrant fresh botanicals help lift the spice to another level. Finally, we opened up the plates to add weight and intensity to the gin. fourpillarsgin.com.au

  4. Spring Bay Tasmanian Gin (700ml)
    Spring Bay Tasmanian Gin (700ml)

The botanicals are steeped for 24 to 48 hours then additional Juniper and Liquorice Root are vapour infused in the neck of the copper pot still to give a traditional Juniper flavour at the front of the palate through to a sweet liquorice finish. This gin is triple distilled giving the spirit an ultra-smooth flavour despite the higher than normal ABV. It contains 11 Botanicals including 3 local botanicals - Native Bush Pepper, Lemon Myrtle, Tasmanian Wattleseed. SPRING BAY DISTILLING

For me this is an altogether gentle and delicate gin not that it doesn't have presence or flavour. More that it relies on its quality through craftmanship and quality ingredients. Juniper driven but highlighted with native bush botanicals that give a unique flavour and aromatic profile. I often find (Australia) native botanicals in gins overpower everything else but these are judiciously used and create a wonderful tasting gin. There is sweet oiliness on the finish that carries everything to gentle, clean and clear finish. A really well made and poised Aussie gin. MYLES,PWS

  5. Four Pillars Navy Strength Gin 700ml
Four Pillars Navy Strength Gin 700ml

After experimenting with some exclusive batches of a high-proof gin for the Gin Palace we decided to add fresh 'Judy's Everbearing’ native finger limes, alongside our beautiful organic oranges, for its first release in 2014. This fresh citrus goes into the botanical basket, with some fresh ginger, giving our Navy Strength Gin its signature power and intensity.

The finger limes highlight the Asian spices like coriander and star anise, and are complemented by the fresh ginger. Then the turmeric adds a fresh but earthy quality, not unlike dill, and weight to the palate.

The resulting gin has lifted aromatics of lime curd, pine needles, and fragrant spices with a vanilla character which pulls the spices together. The palate is intense - sweet and juicy - but it is still very clean.

And we're very pleased to announce that our Navy Strength Gin has been twice been awarded Master status at the Global Gin Masters (in 2015 and 2016), and Gold at the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirit Competition 2014. fourpillarsgin.com.au

The Negroni has made its way into the hearts and minds of Australians everywhere and Four Pillars has taken it to the next level with their Negroni Spiced Gin. This is the first Negroni specific gin created on the market and is infused with things like cubeb, ginger, grains of paradise, pepper-berry, lemon myrtle and so much more.

For the vermouth a little Cocchi Americano Rosa adds a lighter touch and elegant lift to the already punchy gin base and what else but Campari could go in next to round out this perfect pre-dinner drink!

  7. Gintonica 2018 Gin Advent Calendar
    Gintonica 2018 Gin Advent Calendar

Whether a gin tragic or just curious about the current Aussie craft gin boom, take advantage of this opportunity.
We have been waiting a long time for someone to get a Gin Advnet calendar and applaude David at Gintonica's efforts. This pack comes with 23 unique, Australian Gins to get you through the Christmas crazy. These have been hand picked and specially bottled in 50ml miniatures - that's nearly 2 x full bottles of gins! As well the calendar comes with a bunch of extras which include a botanical map, detailed notes on each Gin and a tasting guide with gin recipes. We are super stoked to be able to sell these but stocks are reasonably limited so get in while these are available.

50mL - not that tiny 30mL in other advent calendars. We have enough to sip, mix and share.

  8. PWS Corpse Reviver #2's at Home
PWS Corpse Reviver #2's at Home
Oh man! Whenever we see the list of ingredients for this classic we can help but be struck with a little trepidation and excitement! While there are a number of variants and no doubt many have been lost to time this is our favourite.

This is the No. 2 and to note includes the simply brilliant Maidenii Quinquina. The original recipe called for Lillet Quinquina which has been out of production for a better part of the last two centuries. Gilles Lapalu has tried to come as clos to the style as he could with his rendition.

All-together the combo of Absinthe, Cointreau, Maidenii and Sipsmith gin is so hard to beat that you will be reviving the dead before you know it!
