  1. Pfeiffer Christophers VP 2015 500ml
    Pfeiffer Christophers VP 2015 500ml

This has won a swag of gold medals at recent wine shoes. It’s incredible value for money. Evocative and ebullient in its youth it will also age beautifully.

‘…A heady mix of dark chocolate, violets and ripe black berries with lovely brandy spirit giving complexity.  A rich powerful core of blueberries, blackcurrants, allspice and violets with some lovely bitter chocolate tannins to counter the sweetness on the palate. The tannins are fine and chalky. This has a sensational life ahead.’ GABRIELLE POY, PWS

    Forlorn Hope Mil Amores 2012
The DeWitt Vineyard is sustainably farmed, made up of granite and quartz soils. A blend of Portuguese grape varieties, Touriga Nacional, Tinto Roriz, Trincadeira are planted in a single block. The block was picked and co-fermented at the same time. Aged only in neutral oak for 12 months then bottled. The blend is loaded with black, blue fruit, earthy and spicy undertones, unmatched suppleness with lots of intrigue. PWS

    Pfeiffer Christophers VP 2004 500ml
'Whoa - Christmas in a glass. Arresting nose of  raspberry, plum, chocolate and graphite. Some complexing tertiary notes of leather and spice temper the pure, clean and sleek fruits.  A very composed and detailed rendition of a VP - nothing stewy or overly ripe.  It's a lovely, balanced and warming Aussie VP with 16 years under its belt, and still plenty of life ahead. JEFF SALT, PWS
