After stints at Shaw + Smith, Vietti in Barolo (Italy), and Best’s Great Wester, Michael returned to the family vineyard and set about bringing all the winemaking in house. He created the “Artisan Series” as a way to experiment with small batches, and has made some delightful Pinot Meunier under this label. His “Tilbury” Chardonnay and “Landau” Syrah are serious wines.
