Pieropan

The Pieropan family have long been the leaders in Soave, turning out exceptional wines that speak of their variety and the place they're grown. Of all of their wines the single-vineyard Calvarino epitomises this; showing typical Garganega aromatics and flavours of pear, apple and white blossom underpinned by an intense minerality that is peculiar to this steep site. It's layered and complex (becoming more so with age) and utterly delicious.
