Saturday 28th May - 1pm - 3pm @ Belotta
Join us for a light lunch to celebrate the release of Vasse Felix's pinnacle cabernet, the 2018 Tom Cullity, a wine that has been greeted with unanimous critical acclaim such as:.
Sensational. Astounding. A wine for the ages. (99) ERIN LARKIN It's powerful, yet graceful too, showing the excellent 2018 vintage to great effect. It'll be a beautiful thing given time to unfurl. GARY WALSH This is Vasse Felix's top wine, the one they pull out all the stops for. The cabernet coming predominantly from the oldest vines on the estate, Houghton clones from the original 1967 plantings, the malbec is apparently old Jack Mann heritage clone too. If that weren't enough, alongside the current release we'll also taste through a sleection of back vintage Cullity PLUS "Premier" Chardonnay, "Premier" Sauvignon Blanc and the "Premier" Cabernet and all paired up with a menu from Nicky Reimer in the Bellota kitchen. The lunch will be co-hosted by current head winemaker, Virginia Willcock, a prodigious talent who has revitalised the Vasse range cementing its place as an icon of Australian wine. This is a fabulous opportunity to taste some of the best Margaret River wines being produced today.Luncheon Wines
