Sourced from one the Vale's most coveted sites, high in Clarendon and marked by bush vines well past their 60th year. A mid, translucent ruby. Pinotesque of hue. Hard to match the previous vintage, but it gives it a shot, despite menthol on the nose and a cramped dryness to the finish. A note of many '20's throughout the region. A spurt of raspberry liqueur, bracken, white pepper and candied orange zest, across the mid palate.
