Jane only has two-and-a-half barrels of her 2016 Côte de Nuits Villages, whose fruit is sourced from Comblanchien. The bouquet is very attractive with crisp blackberry and raspberry fruit that has a nice spring in its step. The palate is well balanced with a fleshy opening brimming with red pastille-like fruit and an easygoing finish that should give three, maybe four years of drinking pleasure. NEAL MARTIN, The Wine Advocate

Gentle touch as ever from this Australian micro-negociant.
Mid to deep cherry red. Mildly reductive. Seriously fresh and lively with mostly dark-red fruit and dry chewy finesse to the tannins, with additional freshness from the stems. More savoury than fruitily charming. A nice dusty, dry finish. JULIA HARDING MW
