The history of Vigneti Radica began in the 1950s, when Rocco, the head of the family, planted his first vineyard in Tollo, a small town in the province of Chieti, about 150 meters above sea level, between the Adriatic Sea and the Maiella mountain.

The family has been dedicated to the cultivation of grapes for three generations. After Rocco, his son Antonio and now his grandson Giacomo, continue the mission of producing high quality wines, using only the grapes from their family's vineyards

The winery is completely integrated with the surrounding environment: traditional materials (local stones, wood) are combined with the most modern eco-sustainable technology.

Wild black cherry conserve and ground spice with fresh herbs on the nose. The palate follows through with similar spiced black cherry and wild dark forest fruits which are nicely sweet with a layer of fine, rich tannins that buoy the juicy fruit. A great example of this sometimes-under-performing region. PWS
