Admirably cool and pure aromas of peach, pear and apricot are trimmed in subtle nuances of smoke, tea and white flowers. There is seriously good richness and volume to the full-bodied, powerful and palate coating flavors that brim with dry extract on the sappy and utterly delicious finish where the persistence just goes on and on. Despite the excellent concentration, there is absolutely no heaviness; indeed this embodies what I call power without weight. BURGHOUND

Bright, full yellow. Brooding aromas of peach oil, iodine, smoke and stone. Seriously concentrated and much more closed today than the Bienvenue; shows a sappy, saline, rocky character and yet the overall palate impression is quite smooth. Stony finishing minerality leaves the salivary glands quivering. STEPHEN TANZER
