  1. Heineken 330ml
    Heineken 330ml
Heineken is a 5% abv pale lager, made by Heineken International since 1873. It is available in a 4.3% alcohol by volume, in countries such as Ireland. It is the flagship product of the company and is made of purified water, malted barley, hops, and yeast. In 1886 H. Elion finished the development of the Heineken A-yeast. This is the yeast that is still used for the beer. The beer is force carbonated. It is the world's most popular lager, and is particularly successful in Europe.

  2. Peroni Nastro Azzuro 330ml Bottle
    Peroni Nastro Azzuro 330ml Bottle

Brewed from the finest spring planted barley malts, has a unique balanced taste with a delicate aroma arising from the hops of the most exclusive varieties. Young, balanced and sparkling, Nastro Azzurro is the beer for the knowledgeable and demanding punter. - Birra Peroni Industriale (SABMiller)

This beer is something special. The first glass I poured for this review could have easily been mistaken for a glass of champagne had it not been poured into a pilsner glass. The beers colour is probably one of the lightest shades of yellow I have ever seen. It’s taste starts off bitter and dry and then transitions into a slightly fruity aftertaste. There isn’t much of a beer smell other than that given off by the hops.Peroni makes for an easy drinking beer.

  3. White Rabbit Dark Ale
    White Rabbit Dark Ale
This is a rather dark mahogany coloured ale with a reasonably persistent rocky head. Freshly baked banana bread, toffee and caramel come through strongly on the nose and in the mouth. Big bitterness, evident sweetness and a strong malty finish. An approachable dark beer that does not overwhelm. PWS

A beer that has been tweaked and refined over its lifespan to become one of the best dark beers in Australia, as evidenced by its gold medal in the 2010 Australian International Beer Awards. A welcoming floral aroma derived from the hop flowers used in the brewery’s hop back and the addition of hops into the tank after fermentation draws you in to a smooth, rich, malt-driven beer full of dark chocolate and light roast characteristics with fruity esters from the open fermentation and a solid bitter finish.

  4. Red Hill Brewery Scotch Ale 330ml
Red Hill Brewery Scotch Ale 330ml
The big boy of Red Hill’s core range of beers, this is a no-holds-barred, full-flavoured Scotch Ale that delivers massive amounts of rich, hearty malt-driven goodness. The colour of burnished copper, it has a strong, caramel and toffee sweetness lightly balanced with the brewery’s homegrown Goldings and Willamette fresh hop flowers. The grain make up in this beer took seven years to perfect so remains a tightly kept secret.
