Sutton Grange has a new winemaker in Melanie Chester, ex-Seppelt Great Western. You’d think it will take some time for her to stamp her authority on the place but this wine, which she would have at least finished off, is a solid step in the right direction. Exciting. CAMPBELL MATTINSON
We couldn't agree more with Campbell Mattinson. Melanie is focusing on wines with texture, something the Fiano and Rose have in spades. In terms of the red wines Mel is working towards a fresher, cleaner style of bright fruit and crunchy acidity. It's great to see her breathing new life into the estate and we expect big things to come. PWS
